Licensed in West Virginia, George has practiced law since 2007. His practice focuses on catastrophic injury cases, commercial trucking crashes, and complex claims involving powerful corporations and insurance companies.
He prepares every case as if it will be presented to a jury. He believes the civil justice system exists to hold institutions accountable when their conduct harms working people, and he approaches each matter with disciplined preparation, strategic focus, and a willingness to try cases when necessary.
George earned his Juris Doctor from West Virginia University College of Law. His approach to litigation is grounded in careful analysis, credibility before the court, and relentless advocacy for his clients.

01How he works
- Resist.
The first answer is not the last word
An insurer's denial, a police report or another firm's no is where the work starts. George goes back to the evidence itself.
- Recover.
Build the case for a jury
Every case is prepared as if it will be tried: independent investigation, the right witnesses, and the full measure of what was lost.
- Reclaim.
Hold the right people to account
Preparation changes how an insurance company responds. Where it does not, George is willing to try the case.

“I'm a trial lawyer, and I've spent two decades fighting insurance companies who delay, deny, and defend claims to increase their corporate profits at the expense of their policyholders and the people who they've harmed.”
02Outside the courtroom
Outside the courtroom, George researches and tracks down original editions of books, movie posters, media and comic books, with a particular interest in rare first prints and historically significant pieces. It is an extension of his love of reading, mentoring and lifelong learning.
At home, George is the primary caregiver for his cousin Mark, who has special needs. They often spend weekends going to the movies together.
His favorite legal films:
- A Civil Action
- To Kill a Mockingbird
- My Cousin Vinny
